I told him NO WOODEN BOATS for you since I already have a 28' Chris Cavalier in need of years worth of work. I am making an exception here. #Corkerlife
His town we just bought the house in for his retirement has $25 moorings. Screw it.
Edit: since he is a nut here is what my dad said when I suggested fiberglass "Maybe my Viking forefathers would come out of the sea on me if I was setting in a non wooden boat"

also next time you feel like buying a 4500 boat for no reason, I'm happy to accept one, I'm a big fan of bow-riders btw....

I figured the gauges were something off the shelf with modification - modded because the speedo appears to say Chris-Craft.

Looks big enough to carry a lot of important boating supplies, like Beer (not for the driver of course).

My Dad has a little '68 Boston Whaler in our back yard that we have been meaning to strip down and paint, or finish stripping down to paint. We got to use it twice, before we realized that one of the dumbass PO's put on an extra layer of fiberglass to repair a hole. Anyway, congrats on the new boat!

old whalers are always worth the work though!

and fishing gear!

We currently have less than 2500 in it, including purchase price and a new trailer, and it was appraised for 5k as it sits or 10k restored, so it's definitely worth it if we sell it.

definitely keep me in mind. lol

Hmm, put a twenny-mil AA cannon on it and a couple of fifty-cals and it'd make a mighty nice PT boat...
by which I mean a couple of, er-hem, deep-sea fishing rods.

A 25" boat? Maybe this is more suited for Live and Let Diecast...
In all seriousness, that thing looks pretty sweet!

Boats are holes in the lake you throw money into.
Still, it looks cool. Just needs some chrome smoothies, Mustang II front suspension, a Ford 9" out back, and a LS swap built-up Ford 351 Windsor.
